Origin
Our delicate and delicious herbed salt is produced from rock salt granulated formed at the largest and ancient salt source in America named “Salar de Tarapacá” (Tarapaca Salt Falt) located 2.000 Kms. north from Santiago, at the edge of the Atacama desert (known as the driest desert in the world). Its also influenced by the Pacific Ocean .This conditions allowed a geological phenomena formed xx million years ago that accounts for more than xx times the total human consumption during xx years.
Culinary uses
This unique herbed salt is a perfect combination for gourmet and culinary purposes. It is great to bring out flavour in lamb, beef, poultry and roasted vegetables. Is a delicate complement for grilling, broiling, planking and roasting adding a wonderfully aromatic cent and flavour to all savoury cooked foods. It can be used as a finishing salt for pasta and fish. Try also in omelettes, antipasto and salads.

Salt with Rosemary

The TACAMA salt posses the prefect salinity to end your dish and is the prefect mix with the lamb. Salt with Dill

We advise to prepare salmon adding the salt with dill to the flesh. Let marinate this flesh for a couple of hours in the refrigerator, then you have to retire the liquid that has been sheded. Now you can serve it cold with a dill and yoghurt sauce. You can use this salt to end the oven cooked fish. And you will get a perfect salinity for the fish and you will taste the dill flavor with the exquisitely salt texture.
Salt with Thyme
