The Chilean territory is located in the southwest area of South America. This privileged country is surrounded by the Andean mountain range on the East, bathed by the Pacific Ocean on the west and has the Atacama Desert as its northern gateway. These impressive natural barriers have given it a privileged geography and permanent protection against pests and plagues. Chile has a wonderful diversity of climates and scenery, including the Atacama Dessert (most arid desert in the world), beautiful lakes, native forest and the ancient glaciers of Patagonia. Aconcagua Valley Aconcagua Valley is one of the finest valleys in the world for growing Hass Avocado, with an astonishing view to the Aconcagua river and the Aconcagua mountain itself (highest mountain in Latin America). The valley is located between the "andes mountains" and the "Coastal Mountain Range", surrounded by the avocado plantations in the piedmont of both of these mountain chains.

Avocado
Chile has more than 30,000 hectares of avocado trees within its central valley. Due to its unique climate conditions, mild weather, distinct seasons, moderate rain, pure air and fertile lands the Chilean avocado is being recognized worldwide as a premium quality product demanded by several countries. The Hass variety makes up 85% of all avocados grown in the country. The Chilean avocado is rich in monounsaturated fatty acids, natural antioxidants, minerals and vitamins (it contains 12 of the 13 existing vitamins). It also has a highly nutritious value as a fresh fruit. The avocado is becomingmore popular worldwide, generating an increasing demand in international markets.

Production Plant
"Neo Oils S.A." has its facilities in "Rabuco" overlooking the Aconcagua Valley. The plant is 100 km. north of Santiago and has has state of the art technology.

World wide production of avocado oil has shown sustained growth principally due to its unique characteristics. In modern gastronomy, avocado oil is a healthy option in line with the quest for superior taste, new flavours and healthy living.
